For many years now, we have been ministering to several prisoners from different, nearby prisons. We send them the Activated magazines, Bible studies -which they complete by mail-, and other inspirational materials. This month we set off to the Brandvlei maximum security prison where we finally had the opportunity to meet with three of the prisoners in person. We had a great meeting with them, encouraging them to continue in their walk with the Lord and within a few days we received the following letter from one of them;

“Wow!!! I am still awe struck about my visit with you!! As I’ve said it was and still is an unexpected, but truly welcomed visit. God bless Helping Hand members and their families for being so supportive in your missions!

I’ve told the guys here about your visit, and as you can imagine all the high pitch excitement it aroused….three more promised to write, not because of your visit here, but because you inspire in writing and in person (it is shown though me).” R. M.
