Whenever we hear of families in need of food, clothing, etc. we try to respond with a personal visit. This time we heard about a mother and her two children who were struggling to make ends meet. We were able to pay them a surprise visit with boxes of food. The mother exclaimed gratefully that Jesus always seems to bring the food when they most desperately need it. Praise God! At the end of our visit this precious mommy humbly joined us in prayer.

“Oh, thank you! No one will be having problems with their eyes anymore!” This is what we were told when we delivered part of a 8,000 kg load of butternut to one of our feeding schemes. (note: butternut are high in Vit. A, which helps keep eyes strong). Thanks to this generous donation from Fruit and Veg City we were able to distribute hundreds of kilos of butternut to each of our beneficiaries, adding valuable nutrition to the meals of many children, disadvantaged adults, and those suffering from HIV/AIDS.

Four of us had a wonderful time this month, at the KKNK Music Festival in Oudtshoorn. We joined the hundreds of music lovers and pitched our tent just outside the town. Each day we’d walk into Oudtshoorn to share the good news of the Gospel with young and old. there were throngs of people and we often ministered late into the night, In total we were able to give over 5000 pamphlets and prayed with 52 people to receive Jesus as their personal Saviour. The Lord faithfully supplied our needs and we’re so grateful for everyone who helped us with the cost of the campsite, printing, petrol, and meals.

——————————- Food parcels and fresh food were distributed during the past weeks to individual families, institutions, HIV/AIDS patients, and the children of a local crèche. Much of this food is sourced from local retailers and we are very grateful for their support.
