A Truck-load of Blessing

watermarked-m_106_0718We knew this week would be a busy one, but we had no idea how busy! Christmas parties were planned in two townships, for a total of over 4000 children, and our usual collection and distribution of food and goods would still need to be covered too. As almost everyone on our team left to go to the Wallacedene town-ship we received a phone call that went something like this: “Oh hello. Could you tell me your exact street address because we by have a truck-load of groceries we want to deliver to you. And, by the way, could you have some people on hand to help unload, please.?” Well, the only people we had on hand were some women and children, but unload we did. Pallets of goods, hundreds of boxes, bottles, and tins. This happened twice this week! Both times we were short-staffed, but both times we managed. God bless the kids! It seems like the more we give away, the more we get. It just keeps on coming!
