Today, 17 Helping Hand volunteers and their children participated in the 10 or 5 km Tygerberg run through the beautiful Meerendal Wine Estate. From the littlest ones, aged 2-5, to our youth, 12-17, to the adults, 20’s and 30’s; all had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the amazing camaraderie and fun of joining thousands of other runners for this special event.

The run coincided with World Down Syndrome Day and our 17-year old Down Syndrome boy, Timothy, proudly displays his medal after completing the run. Over the last year Timmy has completed four different runs. Well done Tim!
