A lady we’ve previously partnered with on many occasions brought the most impoverished members of the community together in a hall to benefit from our “free shop” event! Two vanloads of clothes and shoes boxes were unloaded and set out, and each person was given a Gospel tract to read while waiting. Then, after a beautiful Gospel song of thanks, we began! Each man, woman, and child was able to pick out two pairs of shoes, a bag full of clothes, and even some linens and towels. Such was the joy on these dear ones’ faces as they browsed the tables; we couldn’t help but offer a silent thanks to Jesus, who provided all these things, and cares for all his children deeply.
