For this poverty-stricken community, we presented the Message of Salvation, inviting any and all who would to receive Jesus as their Saviour and Forever Friend. Wonderfully, 18 individuals did! We then dished out special goodie bags of treats for the kids, plus Bibles, Activated magazines for the adults, and food parcels for all!
The ladies at this centre for pregnant women in crisis were so excited when we showed up with surprise gifts – Easter chocolates and devotional books! These gifts are seemingly little things, but so important because they help the ladies remember that Jesus loves and is with them.
The children at our weekly Sunday School had a focused Easter message over the last weeks – complete with skits and songs – showcasing Christ’s great and everlasting personal love for each of them. The previous week, they enjoyed a special chicken sandwich, and on Easter Sunday, chocolate, fruit bars, hot cross buns, and a Easter booklet to colour in! What a blessing to be able to influence these dear ones for good, and remind them how much they are cared for.
