Once again, we were blessed with radiant and thankful smiles from these recipients of food parcels! Each person got two bags – one with fresh food, and one with a variety of non-perishables. Girls and boys, moms, dads, omas, opas, and singles, everyone got their parcel, as well as an Activated magazine. (which they always enjoy and we’ve been getting requests for the latest issue)
May each of us take note of their beautiful attitude in the midst of cold, insufficient housing, unemployment (over 40% of this community currently remain jobless) and the ungoing health crisis. We surely have much to be thankful for.
