It was such a blessing and joy to see the happy faces of the ladies at this small business as we unloaded and showed them the materials we had brought. This sewing centre,- which is attached to an orphanage and charity operation in Khayelitsha – provides an income for some of the local familes, as well as a place to upskill young men and women.

We had five boxes full of material, patterns, lace, elastic, buttons, needles, thread, and more! Additionally, we added to their production capacity with four more sewing machines. We respect and admire these hard working ones very much, and are just thrilled that they are now able to do even more to uplift themselves and others.
