After a lot of prayer, planning, and packing, we were ready for our outreach event in Klawer! We drove three full vehicles 3hrs up on a very hot and sunny day. The Lord is truly amazing and supplied SO many items; clothing, shoes, and whole packs of selected Gospel material for hundreds of people! (Many, specifically for children.)
We prayed specifically for:
- Energy and strength
- Safety and protection on the road
- For our vehicles to work perfectly there and back
- Smooth project (we were unable to get a hall so we held the event outside, which could have been problematic)
- Specifically no mobbing or damage, but rather a spirit of peace and restraint
- For Jesus to be glorified and for all the people that would be there to draw closer to Him from that day forward.
And all the prayers were answered! In such a wonderful way! Although there were so many people, and they were desperate and eager, everyone was very appreciative and relatively ‘calm’. It really was a blessed project!
Most importantly, we were able to give a Gospel introduction and Salvation invitation. Over 120 people came forward to accept Jesus as their personal Saviour.
Many hundreds received clothing, shoes, and Gospel material! In the midst of the crowd and all the “busy-ness” we could feel the backing prayers that helped everything run smoothly. What a special day!
