Never too Late for CHRISTmas

What a great joy to hold an event for hundreds of children who didn’t have much of a Christmas – giving toys, goodie bags, healthy juice, and Gospel material – as well as a skit and Salvation message. Partnering with a wonderful lady from the community who organized the hall and some ice cream, we showed up to eager faces and a happy hum of anticipation. Amy, David, and Ester did the “heart skit” for all the children, illustrating how the only key to our hearts and lasting joy is True Love – not toys, clothes, or money. (miracle, only days before a friend showed up at the mission with a brand new wireless speaker and mic setup, which we used for this event! God bless them!) The whole thing was smooth and blessed, with all gladly receiving their gifts and treats! Best of all, 260 children prayed to invite Jesus into their lives as Saviour and Forever Friend!

Christmas Day at the Mission…

So many people are lonely, sad, or hungry at Christmas, and it is a time of year when such lacks are most keenly felt. So, as part of our Celebration, we focused on bringing the spirit of Christmas – God’s Love – to as many as possible. It was our gift to Jesus and others! We prepared a WHOLE LOT of…

Gifts and THE GIFT at Sunday School

For the children at our weekly Sunday School in Morningstar settlement off the N7, this Christmas event was a very special one! We gave a Christmas message, and offered the best gift of all – JESUS and His Salvation – to those who hadn’t yet accepted it. Wonderfully, seven children prayed then and there to invite Jesus into their lives! Then, all of the kids received their own Christmas present, goodie bag, Gospel tract, and healthy fruit to bring home!

Children of Helping Hand Are Part of Christmas Love for Two Communities

It was an incredibly happy and busy day as we brought special Christmas hampers to men, women, and children living in two rural communities. We prayed together, and then began giving to each person, one by one. Two of the children from the mission joined in the event, handing out the goodie packs and Gospel tracts, smiling and giving hugs, all while wishing young and older a Merry Christmas! There were sweet potatoes, flour, carrots, gems, fruit, tea, coffee, sauces, Gospel material, and of course sweeties and toys for all the children!
