It was a spectacular day of excitement and fun as we spent time at this children’s home, unpacking and showing the little ones their beautiful brand new educational books, posters, CDs, DVD’s and toys! Smiles and playtime; unlocked!

Our 7 person outreach team to Hermanus, Stanford, and Franskraal had an amazing time! When they set off early the first morning, they still had no idea where they were going to sleep that night, just that they would minister to and encourage as many as possible! During the day, someone reached out to us with a place the team could stay for the whole outreach, which was absolutely incredible and reminded us of the Scripture “as they went, they were healed!” (Luke 17:14) By the end of the trip, although the whale festival was canceled due to the storm damage, and the amount of people around was much decreased, the immediate, known results are wonderful and joyous!

Over 2700 Gospel tracts were distributed, nearly 100 Bibles and other Gospel books were given out free of charge, many people were prayed for on the spot ( for a variety of requests) and 28 individuals made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour! The team also did follow-up visits with those previously met in the area. We are overjoyed!

It is truly special to be a part of transforming hearts and lives for the better; in this case enabling a downtown drug rehab to continue functioning properly by supplying them with needed toiletries, cleaning supplies, and foodstuffs! We also took time to speak with and encourage the house “father” in his role as counselor and mentor to these men, as they reach towards all they can be. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

We went to public clinics in Kraaifontien, Wellington, Brighton, and Brackenfell, giving out gift parcels with clothes, nappies, lotion, cereal, and other baby necessities! Many of the mothers were overwhelmed with joy, and turned the parcels over in their hands, examining all the goodies! Likewise the mothers in the labour wards got their parcels, so that even before the baby was born, they had some lovely clothes and other items ready! We also gave short words of encouragement on the importance of mothers in God’s kingdom, and left each mom with a Gospel Activated magazine.

A community leader reached out to us, telling of a talk that was scheduled with the ladies of the area. Everything was in order, except they had no eats or things to give the attendees. They had contacted the city office, but were told that there was no budget left. We are very thankful that we were able to give them some snacks, teas, hand sanitizer, and Activated magazines! And the talk was a great success!

We heard about an entire family who were often going days without enough to eat, and sharing
blankets on cold nights due to only having two blankets between them. Thanks to the Lord and
those who support us, we could give them a large food parcel, as well as blankets and other
needed household items and toiletries! Please enjoy seeing the thankful smiles that you are a
part of bringing through your support. (in addition to regular outreach, food distributions, and
focuses such as moms and babies, we assist individual families with parcels as we are able)

How lovely to be able to supply a local social worker with clothing and shoe items, which she and her team gave out to families in great need!
