These dear children each enjoyed a large portion of warm oats for breakfast, and on other occasions bananas, apples, cheese, peanuts and raisins, or other foodstuffs to take home after their Bible lesson. What a joy to bring this bit of help and hope in a cold and tough season.

In the Rain and Cold; Food Parcels for Over 500 People
This project took a lot of planning and preparing, yet really came together not by our own efforts, but by a series of miracles! From different sources, we received instant noodles, cereal, sauces, coffee, tea, rusks, soup, peanuts and raisins, tissue paper, and even chocolates!
Then one gentleman, upon hearing of our plans to give everyone a substantial food parcel, suddenly donated enough carrots to give EACH PERSON a whole 5kg bag! Incredible! And at the last minute we were able to add bananas, apples, and oranges!
Because of the thousands of kilos of carrots, both of our vans were at capacity, and we had to borrow an additional three bakkies to bring all the food to the township. Thank you so very much to everyone who helped with food, sponsorship, bakkies, and volunteering on the wet and cold day!
As you can see from the photos below, the food was gratefully received and everything was orderly and blessed through the hours of distribution!
Mother’s Day Arts and Crafts at Sunday School
For Mother’s Day, the children at Sunday School glued colourful hearts onto a card, to bring home to their moms after the Bible lesson. It touched our hearts to see how excited they were to create personal art, and how much they looked forward to surprising their mothers in this simple way!
Appreciation: Nurses!!!
To show a little love and recognition for the dear nurses – who labour long and often unthanked hours all the year – we packed and personally delivered 150 appreciation packs with treats, cards, and Gospel Activated magazines to the staff at six different government clinics!
The joy and thankful smiles made all the preparation and planning well worth it!
Happy Mother’s Day!
A virtuous woman is worth far more than rubies. Her children arise up, and call her blessed and her husband praises her.

Happy Mother’s Day!
Day by Day…
Food parcel deliveries to struggling families and single moms, supporting soup kitchens that serve hundreds of meals a day, providing healthy nutrition for babies and toddlers, helping an orphanage with foodstuffs and cleaning supplies, and partnering with community initiatives in disadvantaged communities…
These are a few of the daily activities that keep us busy!
In addition to the above, our team is busy with Gospel outreach, Bible studies, followup visits, personal counseling, and producing audio-visual material to share online! (https://www.youtube.com/@christiancomix)

Outreach Update! KKNK in Oudtshoorn
Thank you again for your prayers and support towards the outreach over KKNK in Oudtshoorn! It all came together by His Grace, and from the moment we headed out, miracles continued to abound! The printing of thousands of Gospel tracts was donated, and we received a big box of Bibles for distribution! On top of that; the camping plot was sponsored, our fuel was covered, (some of it on the very WAY to fest) and even meals and coffees etc were provided for, thank you Lord!
The weather was warm and sunny – another answer to prayer – and we had a wonderful blessed and anointed time ministering all over town, meeting many people, having discussions on finding Hope in today’s world, praying for requests, presenting Salvation, and giving out a whole lot of Gospel tracts, Bibles, Activated magazines, and other faith-building material!
We also met with and followed up on many people that we’ve known for long; some as many as 12 years! These are people we previously prayed with to accept Salvation, or prayed for, or connected with and have been in touch with and encouraging since. What a joy to see the long term working of Jesus in their lives!
It was especially wonderful to be there over the Easter period, sharing the Reason for it all; Jesus’ Ultimate Gift on the Cross for us.
Celebrating the Resurrection with Over 300 People – Older and Younger!
While the outreach team was in Oudtshoorn, our team here at the mission was busy with Easter projects! We packed and distributed over 300 treat packs with rusks, chocolates, and a Gospel message!
These packs went to an elderly care home in Kraaifontein, a Christian community initative in Scotsdene, and our Sunday School in Morningstar settlement off the N7.
At the Scotsdene event, Mike was suddenly asked to give a word to the assembled people, which he did with a wonderful Easter message! At the elderly home, the residents and patients were so very grateful for the love and interaction. And at Sunday school, the treat packs were the perfect companion to our handmade “Jesus is Risen” necklaces given after the lesson.
Wonderful celebrations of the most important day in history!
