Aid for Drought-Stricken Community

We heard about an area of farms in the Northwest which are greatly struggling – especially the labourers and even farm owners. Thank God, we have been able to send up with a friend four large boxes of staples – samp, flour, oil, cereal, sugar, biscuits, concentrated juice, and instant noodles – plus over 500 Gospel tracts, 150 Activated magazines, and six Bibles in English, Afrikaans, and Xhosa!
We also continue to pray for all those in the area.

Infocard October 2021

One wonderful statistic from October is that we were able to distribute over 2000 Gospel tracts, Bibles, and Activated magazines!

In addition to this, more than 5200 kg of fresh food went to soup kitchens, feeding schemes, orphanages, creches, and individual families! Praise the Lord!

50 Years of Service for Jesus!

Yesterday we honoured a very special milestone! Anthony, founder of Helping Hand, has now been 50 years a full time missionary! 50 years following Jesus, raising children, ministering and witnessing in countries all over the world! 50 years living by faith, without a salary, trusting the Lord. 50 years creating Gospel material and comic artwork to bring the Truth to younger and older. 50 years, one day at a time, and by God’s Grace still going!

A Large Community Is Given Help and Hope

Carrots, Potatoes, Onions, Gemsquash, Oranges, Apples, Bread, Instant Cereal, Maize, Sugar, Jimmy Spice, Bananas, and a Gospel Activated magazine + “Soul Vaccine” Salvation tract went into 500 parcels for the dear people of this impoverished community. We arrived, set up, and before beginning, led the line of excited residents in a prayer of thanks! Through the hours of distribution, the tender smiles that dawned when we reminded them – man, woman, teenager, or child- that Jesus loves them, showed us it’s worth it all.

Answer to Prayer for “Mama Rosie”

Early one morning, we got a call from “Mama Rosie.” She’s the founder of Baphumelele, an orphanage in Khayelitsha that we’ve been assisting for over 10 years. (She now cares for 160 kids plus runs a community soup kitchen and frail care centre)
She was nearly in tears on the phone, saying she doesn’t have enough food for running, and might even have to close down the soup kitchen. We were so touched because she…

Medical Supplies for Underfunded Clinics

Three clinics (Kraaifontein, Wellington, Fisantekraal), an elderly care home with over 140 residents, and a mobile ambulance unit -serving Khayelitsha- each received dozens of medical supplies to help them in their work of caring for the poor! The supplies included ankle, wrist, elbow, and knee braces, heat patches, PPE products, two wheelchairs, and bandages and plasters. We were able to add a children’s nebuliser for the mobile unit helping patients in Khayelitsha.
Praise God for these frontline workers that serve their communities. We are honoured to make their job a little easier by providing them with these needed items.
