We distributed food parcels to hundreds of families in several informal settlements – giving them both physical aid and a mental boost of encouragement; simply knowing that Someone does care about them.

Nurses Week
For Nurses Week, we packed 120 “appreciation parcels” comprised of a little box of chocolates, an Activated magazine, and a thank you card specifically designed for these dear men and women.
Fun and Food at Sunday School
The children eagerly ate, some finishing their bowls within minutes. Our hearts bled to see some others who (due to often having little to eat and thus stomachs not used to a large portion) were unable to finish their bowl at once. The Cross Has Made You Flawless – Sunday School Easter Project
For Easter Sunday School, we showed a short video that explained the story of Jesus’ Life and Resurrection. Then we expounded on the message of the Gospel, and invited any of the children who hadn’t previously accepted Christ with us to do so.
