Timothy Health Update
Thank you all for your prayers for Timothy – our very own Downs-Syndrome champion. His legs are much improved and the swelling has gone down; however they still need to completely return to normal. He will be going in for another checkup soon. Please continue to pray for him.
Prayer for Timothy’s Healing
Please join us in prayer for Timothy (our superstar downs-syndrome member) who is in Karl Bremer hospital with an unknown inflammation of both legs. We are asking for a miracle of healing and supply of all needs, as well as wisdom for the medical staff and guidance for us. Thank you!
Cream, Crackers, and Corn Cakes – Distribution to Various Centres
Thanks to a generous donation of goods, over a dozen centres have so far received crackers, corn cakes, and whipped cream! What special treats, and real evidence that God cares for our needs as well as those “extra desires”.
Women’s Day For Women in Crisis
This Women’s Day, a group of ladies from a crisis centre were treated to a special meal out! They also were each given a goodie bag with hygiene care products and other gifts- a welcome and extra delight! These ladies truly need every bit of love and care they can get; we are thankful to know and help them. Particular credit also goes to the house “parents”, who dedicate time and affection to each of the girls as if they were their own. God bless them. (Note: faces blurred for privacy)
Foodstuffs for Students
We received an email from a local university; in which the management explained their situation. Many of the students come from less privileged backgrounds and often struggle to get enough food. This in turn affects their ability to concentrate in their studies and exams. Thanks to donors we were able to provide cooking oil, fresh bread, instant soup, crackers, and various fresh fruit/vegetables. We are so glad to be a part of these dear students moving towards a better life through education. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them and to those who take time to teach and care for them.
