Our team of volunteers has been doing street outreach at the Grahamstown Arts Festival for over a week now, and will be there until the end of the event. Please keep them in prayer; for lives changed for good, Gospel material distributed, and souls brought to Jesus! Thank you!

Free Clothing for Young and Older
Everyone needs clothing and shoes – for work and for play. They are an important part of our daily lives. However, some people cannot afford even these basic items. Our Helping Hand team was privileged to be the “hands and feet” and distribute boxes of sponsored clothing to dozens of families, free of charge at local clinics. Mothers, babies, children, and senior citizens all received clothes and shoes in their sizes. What a wonderful occasion to be a part of!
“From Jesus With Love” Books
“My love is patient and understanding in a world of intolerance. My love is tender and kind when people are callous or indifferent. My love comforts in times of sorrow. My love consoles the lonely. My love brings clarity of mind to those who are confused, rest to the weary, help to the helpless, and renewed strength to those who feel they can’t go on. My love brings peace in the midst of life’s storms…” The above is an excerpt of one of the beautiful messages from the “From Jesus With Love” series of books, which were given to the residents of crisis centres, senior citizens, and those caring unselfishly for others.
Happy Father’s Day!
“There is no substitute for a full-time dad. Dads who are fully engaged with their kids overwhelmingly tend to produce children who believe in themselves and live full lives.” There are many verses in the Bible that show how special fathers are, and why God is called our Father in Heaven. What better way to understand God’s great power and uprightness, yet compassion and unending love, than to see him as the Ultimate Father? So here’s to all fathers!
Children’s Home and Orphanage
Baphumelele – a children’s home, school, and orphanage in the largest informal settlement in Cape Town – houses and takes care of more than 140 little ones. We regularly visit them and this time brought a large load of supplies – from staples like cooking oil, bread, cereal, pasta, samp, and baby formula to extras like ice cream, milkshake powder, and snacks! They do a great job at Baphumelele and we are so glad to be part of that.
Youth Day 2015!
Many young volunteers joined in the packing of food parcels for the disadvantaged on this wet and cold day. Then, they went a step further and searched out the needy; giving each person a parcel, an inspirational magazine, and a smile.
Fresh Fruit and Veg
Distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables is an ongoing project – with processed amounts often exceeding 2000kg monthly. Here you see one of the loads.
