Some of us were invited by Francois Daniels to join him on the “City Update” radio program. We had a lovely time talking about God’s Love and care for each human being, and also sharing info about Helping Hand’s initiatives, goals, and projects. We had the pleasure of getting reactions on the SMS line – thus seeing God work on the spot – and to close the show we prayed for our city and country.

Koningsdag – or King’s Day – is a public holiday in the Netherlands on the last day of April. Many people use the opportunity to cycle, walk around town with friends, or celebrate in various ways. Suzanne and Caleb went on the streets, interacting with and showing God’s Love to anyone who would listen. They gave out many Gospel pamphlets and did their part to make it a day about the King of Kings – Jesus! God bless them!

Here you see our two groups of persevering runners – some who did the 21km and some the 10km Safari. It was a beautiful and enjoyable time, full of excitement and camaraderie!

On Monday, we went with our youth to the YTA event in Newlands Stadium. There was inspiring music by bands from near and far, as well as testimonies from former prisoners, drug addicts, and individuals healed from chronic diseases. An added bonus was the appearance of Angus Buchan on the stage; where he spoke about vision and commitment to Jesus without compromise in our lives! It was a moving, interesting, (hot!), and fun time, and we pray for long lasting results from the message; both in our own youth and in the youth of Cape Town as a whole!

Our time at the 2015 KKNK (Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees) Festival was a truly wonderful experience! Tens of thousands of people gathered to enjoy the many attractions, and we were there to introduce the best attraction of all – The Love of Jesus now on this earth and then Salvation and Heaven hereafter! We were able to meet, interact with, pray with, and encourage individuals from every walk of life! The final results of the outreach are: 6700 Gospel pamphlets (tracts) distributed one-on-one. Over 30 Bibles and Gospels of John given out to those who needed. 49 people accepted Jesus into their lives as their personal Saviour! Besides these statistics, our team gave out hundreds of inspirational Activated magazines and met up with many people that we had encountered on previous occasions; in order to catch up and further follow-up on them. The miracles and blessings that we experienced throughout this trip are almost uncountable! Perfect weather, donations of multiple meals throughout our time there,  breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and even snacks!) “chance” meetings ordained by God, good health, safe travels, supply of funds for camping and petrol, wonderful camaraderie of our team, and so, so much more! Thank you Jesus and thank all his “hands and feet” who made it possible for us to be there! Jesus promised in John 12:32  that “If I be lifted up, I will draw all people unto me” – and He did! Thank you all for being a part of that.
