Three days after Jesus’ lifeless body was buried, something happened that shocked His enemies and proved to all of His followers that He really was the Son of God: He rose from the dead, the victor over death and hell forever!

Jesus showed us His amazing love on the cross. Whether it was the love that prays for enemies, or the love that cares for friends, or the love that rejoices over a penitent sinner, He proved that the cross was a cross of love. In freely giving His Life for us He became the very embodiment of a Love that surpasses all knowledge. (Ephesians 3:19)

How wonderful to spend a special time uplifting these ladies – who are staying at a crisis centre and were not expecting much of an Easter celebration. With gifts, treats, and a message on the unwavering Love of Jesus, it was a day to remember! Even little Lily joined, bringing hugs and cheer to each lady!

No running water, electricity, or dependable cell signal – Lots of potential for Holy Spirit power and leading! So excited!

Dozens of follow-up visits and meetings with those met on previous years.

Many prayed with on the spot for healing, work, family, wisdom, and all kinds of other requests.

Four of us are on the road for street outreach and followup visits in Oudtshoorn during the KKNK festival! In addition to Bibles and a lot of other material, the Lord has faithfully supplied thousands of Gospel tracts (including two titles in Afrikaans just ready from printer YESTERDAY!) and we have been offered a home to stay in! Please keep in prayer for good health, continued supply, Holy Spirit anointing, safe travels, and the Lord’s Will to be done at every turn. Also for the team running the mission and day-to-day still at home – for energy, safety, and supply. We are so excited to see what Jesus will do to reach hearts and lives!

This month’s extra focus is bulk food items, and we are so pleased and thankful to have brought all kinds of staples – non-perishables and fresh foods – to multiple centres, including an elderly care home and a homeless shelter and feeding scheme.

This morning, 10 of us participated in the 6km Tyger FunRun! Both the kids and their adult companions made great time, and everyone really enjoyed it!

Today is World Down Syndrome day, and we were highly privileged to be able to run with Timothy, the superstar of Helping Hand! You can see him here sprinting the last metres to the finish and being held up in celebration afterwards! Well done everyone!
