Getting to give these shoes and clothes to so many children in need was really heartwarming – and a great open door to remind them how much Jesus loves them. These young ones have so little, yet are so kind, respectful, and grateful. It just makes you want to do more and more!

One special happening was when we wanted to hike up a mountain to reach an isolated village. Multiple people in the village told us it was dangerous to hike up, as the trail was very wet and slippery. So we both desperately prayed and sought the Lord for His Will, as we didn’t want to fail those dear ones, but neither did we want to be careless with our safety. We prayed, and got the Scripture “The law of God is in his heart, none of his steps shall slide!” (Psalm 37:31) So we went, bringing Gospel material, snacks, and a pair of shoes in our bags. (The chief’s son loves Jesus and is ministering in the village, even though his father himself is not saved and doesn’t really understand or support him. We thought that maybe this pair of sports shoes would fit this young man, so we brought it up, and lo and behold, it did!!! We then found out that he used to be a runner in school, and so appreciated them even more! What a blessing!) We were safe both up and down, and the time was very blessed!

So, we went out once again by faith, and found once again that Jesus’s promises are true. He provided, guided, and anointed us to pour some Love into many lives. And in return we received a whole lot of love back from these precious ones. Lesotho will always have a special place in our hearts. And we continue to attack in all directions for the expanding of the Kingdom!

(a little note; every village we went to was over 1800m over sea level, and the highest were nearly 2500m above!)
