After heavy rain, and with temperatures continuing to drop, we received a phone call from the chief of a nearby township, requesting assistance for his people. Many of the children were without food, and the men could not find work because of the rain.

Thanks to donors and sponsors, we brought in three van loads of goods for hundreds of families. Fresh produce – carrots, onions, potatoes, bananas, oranges, and bread were packed on the spot into bags, and each person got one!

We also gave out Gospel tracts, letting these dear ones know Who cares for them most of all.
