We had the privilege of taking 40 severely handicapped children on an outing to the Helderberg Nature Reserve. What a wonderful way to enjoy God’s marvelous creation: sitting under the trees in the shade, walking among the flowers, sharing snacks and treats. The children we took are severely physically and mentally handicapped and required individual care and attention. We are so grateful for everyone that helped make this day a success. THANK YOU! Because these children almost never go out, everything they saw and did was a marvel to them. For all of us it was also a very special day. We felt so honoured to be able to spoil these precious kids, and they sure spoiled us too with their sweet hugs and heavenly smiles.
