In this cold and wet weather, these sweet children especially appreciate the yummy and healthy food we bring on a regular basis. It sure makes us count our blessings each time we see them and spend time in God’s Word together. We see time and again how thankful they are for even a little kindness and help, and are determined not to fail in being channels of Jesus’ Love to them.

Two Week Eastern Cape Outreach – On the Road!
Our six person team left yesterday for Eastern Cape outreach! (Grahamstown Arts Festival and along the way) Outreach is for two weeks.
Please keep praying for anointing, safety, health, supply, open doors, and receptive hearts in both those met first time on streets and those met again and followed up on. Also for the team running the mission during this time, as they shoulder the full load of local projects and outreaches while short staffed. Thank you!
Brand New Shoes for Youth!
With each box sorted by size and labeled with the recipient’s name, we loaded up and set off for a youth home in Phillipi – excited to give each resident these brand new donated shoes! We met with the young people, house father, and staff, and were able to give a short talk on the Love of Jesus to all 36 men and women, as well as sing a Gospel song together. Then, into the hands went the boxes! Everyone eagerly opened, examined, and tried on their shoes, with smiles and laughter abounding. We then found out that for the majority, this is the first new pair of shoes they’ve ever owned. To close, we gave each young person a Gospel comic book with messages from Jesus. What a wonderful time!
Caring for the Elderly – Bulk Supplies
On a wet and rainy day, we unloaded boxes of bulk cooking supplies, tea, coffee, sugar, condiments, spices, and cleaning items for this elderly care home. With the centre having a constant need of resources to keep running, these items were very welcomed by the grateful staff and residents.
Celebrating Youth!
From David gifting football vests and donuts to the local children’s team that he coaches, to the children of Helping Hand bringing 70 Gospel material packs to workers on the farms by Ladismith, to Ester and Anja handing over beautiful mom & baby hampers to new fathers, our Youth Celebrations were varied and exciting!
Happy Father’s Day!
A very happy and blessed Father’s Day to all the dads!
Showers – of blessings! Hundreds of Parcels Given Out to Families
Answers to prayer abounded in the preparation and outworking of this large scale food distribution; over 450 individuals received food parcels filled with bread, cereal, flour, rusks, tea, coffee, apples, naartjies, carrots, potatoes, onions, tissue paper, and Gospel tracts!
Leading up to the project, we didn’t have all that was needed, but began packing and preparing what we did have…
Nurses Day 2025! Appreciation from the Children
The children of Helping Hand were the major “sparkle” of this Nurses Appreciation focus, as they joined in to go from clinic to clinic, giving smiles, hugs, and treats to these faithful caretakers, who labour long and often unthanked hours all the year. So many times we were tearfully thanked by the nurses “for loving and caring for US!” The children even quoted a poem “Our Lives Wouldn’t Be The Same Without You” and performed and impromptu song and dance “show” to a song about God’s Love, which was met by loud cheers! A lot went into packing, printing, and preparing the treat and card packs, and we are so very glad to see how thankfully they were received by all the nurses.
